ABOUT US

First Story Designs was founded by William Peucker, a proud Bard man from Pender Bay on the Dampier Peninsula. Built on a deep connection to culture, identity, and storytelling, First Story Designs is more than a creative studio — it’s a platform to bring Indigenous voices and stories into the design space.

We specialise in culturally grounded graphic design that reduces tokenism, ensuring brands, organisations, and communities can engage with Indigenous stories in a respectful and authentic way. Every project is approached through consultation and collaboration, allowing clients to not only access high-quality design solutions but also connect meaningfully with culture.

Alongside our design services, First Story Designs also creates merchandise that carries these same values — each shirt and design is embedded with story and meaning, inviting reflection and conversation. By blending graphic design with merchandise, we aim to grow cultural visibility across multiple platforms.

Our mission is simple: to uplift Indigenous voices, celebrate culture, and deliver design solutions that make an impact. Whether through branding, visual storytelling, or cultural merchandise, First Story Designs is committed to creating work that is authentic, engaging, and transformative.
